In version 0.15 series, the icon in the notification area only flashes when I am selecting something from the window forwarded from remote system. When I select something on local machine, the flashing stops. Now it seems that as long as I turn on the clipboard, the icon in the notification area is always flashing, which I find very distracting.
The clipboard functions fine. Both the server and the client are ubuntu 14.04 64 bit running the latest beta from the website.
Is it possible to turn off the clipboard notification from the icon in the notification area?
In the clipboard menu, there is "Disable" "Clipboard" "Primary" and "Secondary". What does these mean? For example, does clicking on "Clipboard" enable it? Does clicking on "Primary" make the remote selection post to primary clipboard of the local machine? Is there some documentation for this?
If the icon is flashing then something is causing clipboard transfers. Usually a clipboard tool of some sort. There is no documentation on clipboard synchronization beyond what is in the man page, contributions in this area are most welcome. The tray menu allows you to choose which remote selection is synchronized with the local clipboard. It should only be shown with win32 clients, not with Ubuntu clients... this would be a bug.
Not heard back, closing.
