Is this a new thing? (I seem to remember you saying that it was working OK in another ticket)

automatic picture encoding enabled, also available:

rgb24, rgb32

(..)

remote desktop size is 6400x1440

rgb-only with a large desktop is going to use tons of bandwidth!
(no wonder you get spinners!)

Kinda reminds me of #2792 - maybe I have had forgotten I've opened it 😕, apologies.
If there is something here, feel free to merge it with #2814.

Please, though, take a look on why on earth would rgb encoding be picked.
My configuration is pretty similar to your upstream one!
