Some applications displays are flipped vertically. This is vscode, it happens with firefox and chrome too.
Server: ubuntu 18.04
Client: Windows 10
Xpra: 4.0

Wow. That's weird, I have never seen that.

Could be opengl related. Have you tried turning that option off?

Have you tried with a different client? Maybe try the builtin html5 client?

Correct, it is opengl related. My client is in virtualbox, I have this warning if I use --opengl:
Warning: renderer 'SVGA3D; build: RELEASE;' is blacklisted!

So you're forcing opengl on despite the blacklist warning?

yes, I need OpenGL. I am testing now in virtualbox, my end users are in real machines.

I bet you don't, maybe you misunderstand what it is for, please see the wiki:

In any case, the fact that you are changing command line options to force enable something despite some warnings... that should have been the first thing you included in this bug report. Not something I have to figure out.
