#2893 new defect

Window freezing

Reported by: heist Owned by: Antoine Martin
Priority: minor Milestone: 4.1
Component: client Version: 3.0.x
Keywords: Cc: soboyle@…

Description

The window can be moved - but I cannot update the state of any of the contents of any of the windows. I suspect that some mouse events aren't getting through (mainly enter/leave or focusin/focusout). Note the cursor is a hollow box rather than solid; once the cursor returns solid I'm able to interact.

Please see wiki/ReportingBugs.

FYI: your versions are out of date.

What application? what commands were used?

Have you tried changing the focus away from the window and back?
Re-connecting? Turning options on or off, ie: opengl, etc..

What am I supposed to do with 5MB of uncommented log data?

The freezing has occurred in multiple applications. In this example, xfce4-terminal was being used. We did attempt to change focus away from the window and back, the freezing persisted. The window manager was responsive.

Arguments used:

    --debug=all \
    --opengl=no \
    --no-pulseaudio \
    --no-microphone \
    --no-speaker \
    --printing=no \
    --html=off \
    --notifications=no \
    --sharing=yes \
    --modal-windows=no

After looking through the logs, there are multiple instances of
