    7777Likewise, {{{xrdb -query | grep dpi}}} & {{{xdpyinfo | grep -i dots}}} continue to output the DPI as adjusted by the scaling, same as the client/server output.

    8181Another interesting note though, I was poking into the control panel a bit more, and I discovered a slider at {{{Control Panel\Appearance and Personalization\Display}}} which is meant to "Make text and other items on the desktop smaller and larger." (I'll include a screenshot, in case the distinction between this page and the other display page is sounding like gibberish.) There are 5 discreet choices (so only just technically a slider, I suppose)... and while I usually have it on the left-most which makes all display contents "Smaller" - but moving to other settings, I find all the screen content becoming larger... but the {{{NativeGUI_info.exe}}} is still indicating 96 x 96 DPI. (Maybe windows 8.1 processes are actually DPI aware... but all DPI are pre-set to 96 x 96, so the awareness will be simpler?)
